Due to the current programme requirements our daily site operational team have an exciting opportunity for a site supervisor to join and complement our existing management structure.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting and reporting to the wider construction management team on a selection of work packages across the Project Mensa delivery scope whilst ensuring that the works are delivered to an acceptable standard of quality in line with safety and programme expectations. Working alongside the Construction Management team and wider sub-contractor teams you will assist in the front-line supervision and planning of the delivery for the programme work package(s). You will help manage day-to-day interactions between the various team(s) and the onsite sub-contractor(s). You will assist the Construction teams’ team with the production of deliverables by our delivery partners meet the correct quality, contract, safety, and within previously designated time requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Work with the Construction Manager to deliver the scheme.
Manage and coordinate site activities in line with the programme.
Review on a daily basis outputs achieved and report to the Construction Manager.
Ensure a quality product is delivered
Ensure only adequately trained and experienced operatives are engaged on site to deliver the works.
Undertake monthly ESH reviews with all suppliers and specialists.
Deliver site inductions and regular tool box talk briefings to the site team covering appropriate Health, Safety and Environmental issues and ensure records of these briefings are maintained.
Assist the Construction Manager in determining the best avenue of works, advising on specialists strengths and concerns.
Record resources and monitor outputs against programme.

Essential: SC Clearance, CSCS

The Senior Engineering Manager (SEM) will be responsible for packages within Process Plant & Equipment on a large complex delivery project; these packages are typically in the manufacturing / site installation phases. The SEM will be responsible for ensuring the design is developed in a manner that maintains the design intent.
They will be required to have a good understanding of the design intent requirements and manage their delivery through to verification. The SEM will also need to be able to demonstrate the correct process has been followed in the design generation including but not limited to, the engagement of stakeholders, collation of comments and generation of design review presentations. The SEM is responsible for the prioritisation and management of the Engineering team working on their packages. The SEM shall also review responses to Technical Queries, Commissioning Reservations etc once competence assessed to do so.

The Quality Engineer/Professional will be responsible for managing the quality processes, procedures and documents on behalf of the client. They will be responsible for managing supply chain adherence to quality best practice.
Scope of work is to complete defined tasks on Order Book. Typically details Quindos Programming for Shells using Dimensional Inspection on a Co-ordinate Measuring Machine (CMM).
Skills in Quindos programming is desired, although PC DMIS programming may be acceptable. A good grounding in inspection practices, use of inspection equipment, setting up of components etc, is desired.
DV clearance preferred but SC acceptable as minimum.

We are looking for a Package Manager to be involved in front end constructability and engagement of early contractor involvement to join our defence sector, which includes a contract at a facility near Reading.
The role requires Security Clearance at SC level with later stages potentially to DV level, therefore the ability to obtain clearance is essential. 5 years continuous residency in the UK and UK Citizenship is required.
• Leading the operational management and delivery of projects
• Building relationships with key stakeholders (Client, Contractors, Construction Manager functions) and maintaining regular communication to ensure project deliverables are met in a timely manner and construction requirements are completed to schedule
• Leading key packages of site works (M&E and/or HVAC bias)
• Ensuring nuclear safety and quality requirements are maintained to the highest standard
• Performing against a tight schedule and budget through effective management/oversight of engineering deliverables, assurance and quality requirements, risk, and opportunity management, and ultimately construction deliverables
• Creating an inclusive environment, leading, and motivating others to achieve and deliver successful project outcomes
• Managing and supporting others in implementation and application of project controls and commercial management, including contract administration (NEC3 & 4)
• Ensure that key deliverables within each stage of the project are being achieved, to the highest standard on a consistent basis, safely and with due regard to nuclear safety requirements
• Reporting to the Construction Delivery Director, produce various weekly and monthly progress reports to update project SLT, including support of control account reporting and client monthly progress reports
Knowledge, Skills and Experience / Qualifications
- HNC, HND or Degree Qualified (or qualified by experience)
- At least 3 years’ experience in delivering large scale projects, preferably in a highly regulated environment.
- SMSTS or equivalent is preferred
- Security Clearance at SC or above already held is preferred
- Prior experience in Defence/High Assurance Level/ Civil Nuclear projects is preferred
- Lifting AP beneficial or high-level knowledge

· The site-based role is to work under the supervision of the lead planner and specific work package manager to develop a detailed delivery & Procurement schedule for Mechanical & Electrical Completion on a major fit out project.
The project is within a highly regulated industry and has a remaining programme duration of 12 months.
Responsibilities:
· To manage the program for the project or part of project to which you are assigned
· To undertake monthly contractor PFA reviews as required under NEC contract conditions
· To enforce Costain & the Intelligent client’s policies and procedures across the project
· To coach the operational project teams on planning elements of their work and integrate and communicate effectively with the project team
· Develop the instrumentation schedule across the project through interactive planning sessions
· Interface directly with supply Chain and undertake regular physical review & challenge of claimed progress in areas both on and offsite
· Manage the planning at all stages of a project, identifying any rectification action required and influencing the parties responsible to complete these actions
· Lead the generation of schedules (and their re-baselining where required) involving the project team to give understanding, buy-in and commitment
· Provide coaching to the wider operational teams to enable them to work more effectively and with minimum direct planner support, hence improving overall efficiency
· Application of technical and construction knowledge to produce integrated programs
· Establishment of accurate and up-to-date programme metrics to define the status of projects across the portfolio
· Work closely with the Project Manager and QS to maximise the potential of each project, attend site meetings when necessary to discuss and confirm progress.
· Coordinate the supply chain to achieve production targets and key milestones
· Act as the ‘conscience’ of the project, accurately defining project programme status
· Develop and maintain the Rules of Credit for progress capture
· Produce change requests and supporting data for any change of project baselines
· Manage schedule-related elements of the risk mitigation plan / opportunity plan
· Collect and maintain schedule data within the project library
· Intervene where required to refocus planning efforts in the recovery or redirection of projects and develop recovery plans / review supply chain recovery plans
Qualifications:
· Qualifications in Electrical / Instrumentation / M&E Engineering, project or construction management, or equivalent vocational training and experience is desirable
· Member of an appropriate professional body is desirable (ACostE, APM etc.)
Technical Experience:
· 5 years+ in a Planning role
